I graduated with honors from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy with over 1000 hours of training and an advanced certificate in Zen Shiatsu. I also hold a BA in dance from Colorado College and am a certified yoga instructor. My sessions focus on integrating body, mind, and spirit thus treating you as a whole person instead of a list of symptoms. I enjoy working with people who are committed to their health and open to possibility. When awareness and acceptance are present, there is room for change. Working in this way, our combined efforts provide relief from a multitude of ailments including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, fatigue, sciatica, spinal fusion, insomnia, stress, whiplash, autoimmune disorders, and chronic pain of any kind. My specialized training includes intraoral massage which has been particularly helpful in the treatment of TMJ/TMD, chronic tension headaches, and migraines. As a skilled Zen Shiatsu practitioner, I will tap into the energetics of your body to assess and treat the root cause of your imbalance(s) and draw on my knowledge of Chinese 5 element theory to discuss and describe your treatment in a compassionate format. My rich experience with yoga and dance bring a depth to my bodywork that is overflowing with sensitivity, movement, and presence. This allows me to engage with you in the moment and intuitively connect with the essence of who you are, providing a platform for your treatment session to unfold and evolve into exactly what you need.
